Cleveland, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – With Larry Ogunjobi returning from a 1-game suspension the Browns made a surprising roster move Tuesday to make room on the active 53-man roster.

Defensive tackle Devaroe Lawrence was waived by the team.

Lawrence appeared in all 11 games this season, including 2 starts. He tallied 8 tackles, an interception and fumble recovery.

Cleveland acquired Lawrence, originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn in 2017 by New Orleans, from the Saints on Sept. 1, 2018 for a 2019 seventh round pick.

Ogunjobi was suspended for 1 game for shoving Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph in the back during the melee that followed Myles Garrett ripping Rudolph's helmet off and hitting him in the head with it in the closing seconds of the Browns' 21-7 victory on Nov. 14.
