Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – Mike Clevinger got his first start of the spring, throwing three-scoreless innings, as the Indians beat the Dodgers 6-1 on Wednesday night.

Jose Ramirez got the Indians on the board in the fourth, scoring on an error. Hanley Ramirez took advantage of the miscue with an RBI single later in the inning that gave the Indians a 2-0 lead.
Oscar Mercado had the only home run of the game, a solo shot in the seventh. The Indians tacked on another run in the eighth and two more in the ninth to put the game out of reach.

Cole pitched a perfect inning and Jon Edwards struck out the side in his one inning of work. Oliver Perez allowed one run and two hits in one inning.
The Indians improve to 6-6 this spring. They play the Diamondbacks on Thursday at 3:10 p.m.
