Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Indians have placed starter Mike Clevinger on the 10-day injured list with a back strain. He's also dealing with a Teres major muscle strain according to the Indians.
The 28-year-old left Sunday's win over Toronto with upper back tightness.
Manager Terry Francona told reporters it'll be six-to-eight weeks before Clevinger will pick up a ball.

Clevinger was off to a scorching start for the Tribe. He didn't allow a run in 12 innings and was averaging 1.83 strikeouts per inning (22 total).
He was in good spirits after exiting Sunday's game and didn't expect to miss a start. It's Clevinger's first time on the Major League Injured List.
