Craig Ehlo talks about "The Shot" and The Last Dance documentary

Former Cleveland Cavaliers SG Craig Ehlo joined Ken Carman and Anthony Lima to remember his role in "The Shot" and the recent Michael Jordan documentary "The Last Dance."

“Coach Wilkens was fantastic at drawing stuff up like that," Ehlo said on hitting the go-ahead basket before 'The Shot.' "It was a simple give and go. All I had to do was throw it to the 6 foot 11 Larry Nance and wow! When I cut to the basket hard like Coach Wilkens said just cut hard, I was wide open.”

Later in the interview, Ehlo reminisced on just how good the Cavs were in the late 80s and early 90s.

“No question, if that shot doesn’t go in, everyone was saying that that time that the Pistons were the team everyone was going to have to knock off. If he missed that shot, I say yes, we win at least one or two championships because of the nucleus of the team being so so good.”

On who was the meanest of the Bad Boy Pistons, Ehlo added  “Everybody would figure I’d say Mahorn or Laimbeer because they did kinda cheap shots but I played against Joe Dumars and Isiah … Joe was that slient guy.  He never got that image but he’d elbow you, push you, shove you.  He did a lot of stuff.  He was as dirty as any of them.”
