CLEVELAND, OH — The Indians traded two-time Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber for right-hander Emmanuel Clase and outfielder Delino DeShields Jr. on Sunday.

Clase, 21, has a devastating cutter that tops out at 102 mph. He had 21 strikeouts and six walks in 23⅓ big league innings last season.

DeShields, 27, has posted a .246/.326/.347 slash line in five seasons with the Rangers. He's played in at least 106 games in four of his five seasons. He's known for his speed and defense, but isn't expected to be an everyday starter for the Tribe.
