CLEVELAND, OH – Week 13 is here, which means the fantasy playoffs are right around the corner. The decisions you make over the next few weeks could be the difference between winning and losing a fantasy championship. There is plenty of talent on the waiver wire.
Here are the players worth adding this week:
Rashaad Penny (20%) – Penny exploded for 149 yards rushing and a touchdown on 14 carries against the Eagles. Chris Carson’s fumble issues opened the door for Penny, who has RB3 potential moving forward. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said both running backs will be apart of the game plan in Week 13. Penny is a top waiver wire add this week.
Robby Anderson (53%) – Anderson had one of his best games of the season, finishing with four receptions, 86 yards and one touchdown. He has two great matchups against the Bengals and Dolphins over the next two weeks that make him a high-upside WR3.
Benny Snell Jr. (5%) – Snell was clearly the Steelers’ lead back with James Conner out against the Bengals. The rookie finished with 98 yards on 21 carries. Jaylen Samuels only had two carries in the game. Snell is worth adding if you need short-term help at running back. Conner could be out again this week as he continues to deal with a lingering shoulder injury.
Russell Gage (7%) – Gage has been targeted 19 times in his last three games. He finished with eight receptions for 76 yards on Sunday. The Falcons’ pass heavy offense puts Gage on fantasy radar. He has WR4 potential down the stretch and is worth adding in deeper leagues.
Jonathan Williams (63%) – Williams has 220 rushing yards and one touchdown in his last two games. If he was ignored on the waiver wire in your league last week, right the wrong and add him for Week 13. Moves like this could be the difference between winning and losing your fantasy league championship.
Bo Scarbrough (43%) – Scarbrough finished with 98 yards on 15 carries as the Lions’ lead back. He’s worth adding in all leagues, but has the most value in standard formats. Scarbrough is in the RB3 mix in Week 13.
James Washington (20%) – The Steelers’ quarterback situation is questionable at best, but Washington continues to impress regardless of who’s under center. He has 12 receptions for 237 yards and two touchdowns in his last three games. Washington is worth adding in 12-team leagues.
Ryan Griffin (44%) – Griffin signed an extension with the Jets on Saturday and scored a touchdown on Sunday. He’s very much in the TE1 mix moving forward. He has at least 10 PPR points in four out of his last five games.
David Njoku (30%) – Njoku returned to practice last week and is expected to play for the Browns on Sunday against the Steelers. He has TE1 potential down the stretch, assuming he’s able to play a full game. Njoku is a great bench stash at the extremely shallow tight end position.
Other players worth watching:
Sam Darnold (39%), Ryan Tannehill (26%), A.J. Brown (16%), Will Fuller (63%), Cole Beasley (29%), Mike Gesicki (11%), Darius Slayton (25%), Andy Dalton (6%), John Ross (7%).
