The 2020 MLB Draft has wrapped up and the Cleveland Indians have officially added six new members to the organization.
In addition to shortstop Carson Tucker and right handed pitcher Tanner Burns, who were taken on night one of the draft, the Tribe selected Florida International University left handed pitcher Logan Allen, Mira Costa HS (CA) outfielder Petey Halpin, Santa Margarita HS (CA) shortstop Milan Tolentino, and Vanderbilt right handed pitcher Mason Hickman.
In case you thought you read that wrong, your eyes do not deceive you... The Indians did select ANOTHER southpaw named Logan Allen, this one from Florida International, where he finished his career with 246 strikeouts in 183.2 innings pitched, including 41 strikeouts in just 25.2 innings in 2020 prior to the 2020 season being cancelled.

June 12, 2020 Following the selection of Allen, the team took back-to-back high school players in outfielder Petey Halpin and shortstop Milan Tolentino. Halpin is an extremely athletic outfielder who was recruited by Texas to play with Indians first round selection Carson Tucker, but now joins him in being selected by Cleveland.

June 11, 2020 Tolentino has been billed as one of the best defensive shortstops in this class, which is why he was recruited to UCLA. On MLB Network's coverage, Tolentino mentioned Indians SS Francisco Lindor as the player he models his game after. His father, Jose Tolentino, is a former major leaguer and current Los Angeles Angels Spanish radio broadcaster.

June 12, 2020 Last, but certainly not least, the Tribe added right hander Mason Hickman from Vanderbilt. Hickman is known for getting the last out to clinch the 2019 College World Series for the Commodores. In his three year career with the team, the 6'6" power pitcher went 19-2 record with a 3.13 ERA.
