John Dorsey makes changes to Browns personnel department

Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns restructured a portion of their personnel department Thursday.

The team has parted ways with director of player personnel Chisom Opara and director of college scouting Bobby Vega. In addition to the departures of Opara and Vega, the club also fired scouts Zac Bocian, Scott Levin and Patrick Moore along with scouting assistant Keegan Leyrer.


Steve Malin, who most recently served as the New Orleans Saints’ national scout for 2 years, has been hired to replace Vega.

Chris Cooper was promoted to vice president of football administration and Brandon Sosna was promoted to salary cap analyst while Scott Kaniecki will transition from a scouting assistant to defensive quality control coach the team also announced.
