The Commissioner of the Mid-American Conference Dr. Jon Steinbrecher join Ken Carman and Anthony Lima to discuss all the details that went into postponing the fall sports season and what the next moves for the conference could be.
Dr. Steinbrecher talked about why the conference had to cancel fall sports and if finances were a factor and if moving to the spring is a possibility.
The Commissioner also talked about the possibility of a players union in college sports, some of the student-athlete empowerment programs the MAC has and if he thinks they could pay the players.
He ended with some of the advice and discussions he's had with fellow commissioners around major college sports, some of the complications that he is seeing currently with logistics of trying to travel and what the fallout from canceling the season could be for some of the smaller programs at schools.
