CLEVELAND, OH — Cavaliers rookie Kevin Porter Jr. left Sunday's game against the Timberwolves with a left knee injury.
Porter's knee buckled underneath him while he was dribbling at the top of the key in the third quarter. He went down immediately and was in obvious pain. Porter grabbed his left leg and was down for several minutes before being helped off the court by head trainer Steve Spiro. He didn't return to the game.
Porter will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury a source told 92.3 The Fan.
