Berea, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Myles Garrett, danced, moved with ease and even playfully wrestled with fellow defensive lineman Daniel Ekuale while holding a football as they went through their pre-practice calisthenics on Friday.

The Pro Bowl defensive end, who appeared in the injury report Thursday with a knee injury and was limited, appeared anything but limited during the portion of practice open to reporters.

“I never had a doubt,” head coach Freddie Kitchens said. “You just have to put things on there when they are is getting treatment and stuff like that. That is the reason he is on there. He will be ready to go.”

Garrett remains tied for the league lead in sacks with 9.0 this season and he’s amassed 29.5 in just 33 games played in his career.

They’re back – The Browns will get their 2 starting cornerbacks back Sunday.

Pro Bowler Denzel Ward and rookie Greedy Williams will suit up for the first time since suffering hamstring injuries during practice on Sept. 20.

“It's been a long time and I'm happy to be back and I'm ready to get going,” Williams said.

“I've been practicing full speed, giving it 100 percent and I think I'm back to my old self and just a little bit better.”

There’s no easing back into things for either corner – not with 42-year old and 6-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady awaiting them in Foxborough.

“He was at the combine before I was born,” Williams said. “But just growing up, hearing him win multiple Super Bowls and a guy winning like that every year, you've got to label him one of the greatest.”

Williams is already living his dream by playing in the NFL. But the opportunity to potential pick off arguably the greatest quarterback would be another. The rookie understands the challenge that awaits him.

“I never had a dream of playing against Tom Brady, but it's one of the biggest things that I'm probably going to be faced with this year, going up against one of the greatest guys, try to make a couple plays on him and put that under my legacy,” Williams said.

Randall out – While Ward and Williams return, safety Damarious Randall has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Randall suffered the injury in the closing moments of their Oct. 13 loss to Seattle.

It will mark the third game Randall will miss this season. He was out Weeks 2 and 3 due to a concussion.

Getting it off his chest – Kitchens was unhappy with reporters Friday, a day after Jarvis Landry was quoted by national publications guaranteeing a win over New England.

The misinterpretation of Landry’s quote set off a firestorm on social media and created headlines in New England.

“I think I do a pretty good job of communicating with you guys and telling you as much as I can from a truth perspective. I would just like the same in return from you guys when you are talking to our players,” Kitchens said. “Everybody in here knows that Jarvis was not guaranteeing a win. He was asked what do you want to accomplish after the bye, and he stated we would like to go win or something in that realm. New England was never mentioned so for you guys to do that, I think it was very unfair.”

Kitchens anger comes following a report that Patriots coach Bill Belichick presented the quote to his players Thursday.

“It does [bother me] because we do not represent that. We do not guarantee anything,” Kitchens said. “These guys have never guaranteed anything. They have guaranteed that they would go out and give their best, and I think that is what they have done.”
