Coleman, selected 15th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Browns, was dealt by Cleveland on Aug. 5th for a 2020 seventh-round pick, which was not contingent upon him making the team meaning Cleveland still gets the pick.
Coleman appeared in 19 games and totaled 56 receptions for 718 yards and 5 touchdowns with the Browns over 2 seasons. Coleman was slowed by separate broken bones in his right hand that cost him 13 games while in Cleveland.
Coleman had 3 catches for 7 yards in three preseason games for the Bills.
With Coleman heading to the Patriots, he’ll play with future Hall of Fame QB Tom Brady, and be in a WR room with two fellow first round picks (Phillip Dorsett, Cordarrelle Patterson).
