The office of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced Thursday that some sports leagues can resume operations on May 26th.

WCMH in Columbus reports these activities are non-contact or limited contact, such as golf, baseball, softball, and tennis, and other paddle sports.
More details on what types of activities will be allowed pertaining to recreational leagues will be posted Thursday night on coronavirus.ohio.gov.
More high contanct sports such as basketball, soccer, lacrosse, hockey and field hockey are still being considered.
Lt. Gov. Jon Husted said volleyball and gymnastics present their own set of challenges.
Additionally, Husted said gyms, fitness centers, recreation centers, dance studios, and tennis clubs will be able to open on May 26, as well.
“The protocols are designed, the openings are designed, to allow us to do the things we love, while also keeping our loved ones safe,” Husted said.
