Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Indians were shutout by the Giants 2-0 on Friday night. They finished with a total of four hits and left five runners on base.
Cameron Maybin got the scoring started with a double off of Jefry Rodriguez in the second inning. San Francisco added another run in the seventh when Tyler Olson walked Joey Bart.
Carlos Santana finished 2-for-3 on the night, raising his batting average to .409 this spring. Hanley Ramirez finished 0-for-3 and Jake Bauers went 1-for-2.
Leonys Martin entered tonight 9-for-20 in Cactus League play. He finished 0-for-3, but still has a .409 batting average. The Indians are 7-7 this spring.
