CLEVELAND, OH – Indians outfielder Yasiel Puig was suspended for three games for his role in a brawl with the Pirates earlier this week. He will appeal, which means he'll play in Thursday's series finale against the Astros.

The Indians finalized the trade for Puig on Wednesday. He spent the first part of the season with the Reds.
The league said Puig received the suspension for his "aggressive actions" during the incident.
