92.3 The Fan is sad to share the news that that after a long battle with cancer, longtime Cleveland Browns mascot Swagger died on Friday afternoon.
Swagger had run through the tunnel and onto the field at every Browns game at FirstEnergy Stadium since 2014, until Swagger Jr. took over the pre-game run on November 10th, when the Browns hosted the Bills this past season.
Swagger was a 145-pound bullmastiff who hailed from FD Farms in Rootstown, Ohio, operated by Fred and Debby McLaughlin. Their son, Justin, was the dog's handler.
