Quicken Loans Arena is now Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Changing the branding from arena to FieldHouse will be a shock to some but the Cavs and Quicken Loans felt it was a better fit to the experience the renovated building will provide fans starting this fall.
Outside the Quicken Loans Arena signage has been removed and new LED signage will replace it.
The "O" in the new exterior LED signage will have the ability to change depending on the event. When the Cavs play it'll be a basketball, a hockey puck for Monsters games and music note for concerts.
The building is set to close in May and reopen on Sept. 30 in time for the 2019-20 Cavs and Monsters season.
Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse is scheduled to host the 2022 NBA All-Star game and 2024 NCAA Women’s Final Four.
