The Green Bay Packers will be the Philadelphia Eagles' Week 1 game on Friday, September 6th in Brazil, the NFL announced on Wednesday.
The reactions were plentiful on 94WIP and social media, immediately following the announcement.
"Don't you feel like you've lost out on something as an Eagles fan, because it's a home game, right?" Rhea Hughes asked on the 94WIP Morning Show.
"Especially the Packers. I could have lived with it if it was the Browns. The Packers game I want to see that in person."
"I agree with you there is more of a storied thing there... But I will say, I can understand the league going there to kickoff the season. I mean, Jalen Hurts versus Jordan Love, pretty compelling nationally."
