The Yankees have announced their rotation for the first three games of the ALDS, and there aren’t any surprised.

Gerrit Cole will take the ball in game one on Tuesday night, and Nestor Cortes will be on the bump in game two in the Bronx, with Luis Severino pitching game three in Cleveland.

Aaron Boone confirmed the news on Sunday, after initially saying that Cole was the game one starter last month, then leaving it more open ended as Cole’s home run struggles continued. But the Yanks will roll with their $36 million man in game one.

Cole dominated Cleveland this season, pitching to a 1.42 ERA with 15 strikeouts in 12.2 innings, while Cortes allowed just three runs in 12.1 innings against the Guardians.
