
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - He’s played over 1,500 games in the NHL and on Wednesday it was announced that Matt Cullen’s NHL’s career has come to an end.
The Penguins center won three Stanley Cups during his 21-year career in the NHL, one with the Carolina Hurricanes and two with Pittsburgh.
Cullen has 266 lifetime goals with 465 assists for a total of 731 NHL points.
The 42-year-old Cullen was an important part of the Penguins back-to-back championships in 2016 and 2017. He had a total of 15 points in the two championship years.
