Charles Barkley joined Dukes & Bell and talked about what he thinks of load management in the NBA, how it’s affecting the game and what it could lead to.

Barkley talked about how load management is disrespectful to the game.

“I think at some point the owners are going to get pissed, because the fans are already mad, the fans started complaining a couple of years ago.” Barkley said “The thing that drives old guys like myself crazy is it’s not like they’re flying commercial like we flew commercial. We flew commercial, had to get up at 5 in the morning go to the airport, sit in the airport for two hours to catch a flight.”

“Now they all have got their own planes, they can relax, get a hot meal on the plane, get a good night sleep and then to make things worse remember a couple of years ago Adam stopped letting them play back to back games. I think it’s disrespectful to the game, and I think it’s disrespectful to the fans. I really hate the term ‘load management’, I really do.”
