Petrak: Browns Giants practices will be intense, no need to play starters in week two of preseason

Scott Petrak, who covers the Browns for the Chronicle-Telegram, believes Browns can get their work done without playing starters.

Are you ready to see the Browns starters in week two of the preseason? Well, not so fast! This morning, Scott Petrak of Chronical Telegram joined Baskin and Phelps to discuss how well the Browns looked against the Jaguars and what we can expect from the joint practice with the New York Giants this week. Petrak believes that the two-day practice between both teams will be very intense and that the Browns more than likely can get more work done in those practices versus the limited snaps they would get in the preseason game. Petrak believes there is no reason to play the starters, citing injury risk and how long the season will be. Scott also discussed the kicking battle, how many wide receivers will make the team, the possibility of no fullback this season, and more in the full interview.
