CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns announced their preseason schedule Tuesday.
With the expansion of the regular season to 17 games, the NFL preseason has been reduced from four to three games and AFC teams, who will have nine home games in the regular season, will host just one preseason contest.
The Browns will kick the preseason off August 14 at 8 p.m. in Jacksonville followed by their lone home game, a 1 p.m. kickoff against the Giants, before ending the preseason on Sunday Night Football at Atlanta.
Browns 2021 Preseason Schedule:
Week 1: @ Jacksonville 8/14, 7 p.m.
Week 2: vs New York Giants 8/22, 1 p.m.
Week 3: @ Atlanta 8/29 Sunday Night Football, 8 p.m.
The Browns' regular season kicks off Sept. 12 in Kansas City, a rematch of January's AFC Divisional playoff loss to the Chiefs and ends Jan. 9, 2022 against the Joe Burrow and the Bengals at FirstEnergy Stadium.
