Browns activate RT Jack Conklin from PUP, make other moves

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Browns right tackle jack Conklin was activated from the active/Physically unable to Perform list Monday morning the team announced.

Conklin has been rehabbing from a torn patellar tendon that ended his season in Baltimore November 30, 2021. Conklin had just returned to game action after missing the previous three games due to a dislocated elbow.

This offseason, Conklin agreed to restructure the final year of the three-year, $42 million contract he signed as a free agent in 2020.

In addition to activating Conklin, the Browns waived receiver Isaiah Weston with an injury designation and signed receiver Derrick Dillon.

Weston was carted off the field Saturday afternoon after suffering a knee injury during practice.

Dillon, waived by the Giants last August, most recently spent time with the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL.

Training camp continues with practice scheduled Monday afternoon at 2.
