Browns add interior line depth by signing guard Wes Martin

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns added depth to the interior of their offensive line Thursday by signing free agent guard Wes Martin.

Martin is a native of West Milton, Ohio and attended Milton-Union High School.

Martin essentially replaces Hjalte Froholdt, who signed with the Arizona Cardinals this offseason.

Originally a fourth-round pick by Washington in 2019, Martin has appeared in 38 games with 11 starts. Last season, he appeared in six games as a reserve.

Martin is the 12th player added this offseason by the Browns joining defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson, safety Juan Thornhill, defensive end Trysten Hill, defensive tackle Maurice Hurst, tight end Jordan Akins, cornerback Michael Ford, quarterback Josh Dobbs, linebacker Matthew Adams, receiver Elijah Moore and receiver Marquise Goodwin.
