Goodwin, a nine-year veteran, visited the Browns earlier this week and he gives them another speedy downfield threat for quarterback Deshaun Watson.

On Thursday the Browns completed a trade with the New York Jets for receiver Elijah Moore and the 74th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft for Cleveland’s second round pick, No. 42 overall.

Goodwin caught 27 passes for 387 yards and four touchdowns for the Seahawks last season.

Originally selected by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Goodwin has also spent time with the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers.

Goodwin has started 44 of 102 career games in which he’s totaled 187 catches for 3,023 yards and 18 touchdowns over nine seasons.

Including Goodwin, Berry has now added 11 players in the last two weeks – defensive ends Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and Trysten Hill; defensive tackles Dalvin Tomlinson and Maurice Hurst; safety Juan Thornhill; linebacker Matthew Adams; cornerback Michael Ford; tight end Jordan Akins; quarterback Josh Dobbs and Moore.
