CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns agreed to terms with veteran safety Rodney McLeod Thursday.
McLeod, who enters his 12th NFL season, spent last season with the Indianapolis Colts where he started 15 of 17 games and tallied 96 tackles, broke up eight passes, had two interceptions – one of which he returned for a touchdown – and recovered a fumble.
McLeod previously spent six seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles after starting his career in 2012 as an undrafted free agent with the Rams organization, which at the time played in St. Louis.
Over his career, McLeod has totaled 60 pass breakups, 23 tackles for loss, 18 interceptions, 11 forced fumbles, nine fumble recoveries and two sacks.
