Browns DE Myles Garrett, other defensive veterans participate in OTAs

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – True to his word, Myles Garrett was in Berea for OTAs along with a host of other defensive veterans.

Over the weekend Garrett posted on Instagram a photo of him boarding a plane with his dog and the caption, “Tell Stefanski we on the way.”


In addition to Garrett, defensive tackle Andrew Billings, linebackers Anthony Walker, Mack Wilson and Jacob Phillips, safeties Grant Delpit and Ronnie Harrison, cornerback Greedy Williams and defensive end Porter Guston were among the defenders who participated along with the rookies.

Quarterback Kyle Lauletta along with fullbacks Andy Janovich and Johnny Stanton, tight end Stephen Carlson and offensive lineman Michael Dunn were among the veteran offensive participants.

The Browns will have three OTAs this week – Tuesday through Thursday – and four of them next week before their mandatory minicamp June 15-17.

Sessions the next two Wednesdays will be open to reporters.

The NFLPA, led by president and Browns center JC Tretter encouraged players to skip the in-person portion of the offseason program entirely but some players and teams across the league negotiated reduced workouts with coaching staffs.
