CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was named to the Associated Press All-Pro team Friday.
He was the only Browns player honored on the first or second team.
This was the fifth overall All-Pro selection for Garrett, who was also named an All-Pro for the second time by the NFLPA and is now a five-time Pro Bowler, and third first-team selection.
Garrett received the most votes among edge rushers, a positive sign in his quest to win the Defensive Player of the Year, which is also presented by the Associated Press at NFL Honors.
Votes were cast by 50 media members nationwide and this marked the second year under the new voting system where first-team votes were worth three points and second-team votes were worth one.

It is also a good sign for cornerback Denzel Ward who left Thursday’s practice with a knee injury.
