CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns placed offensive lineman Chris Hubbard on injured reserve Tuesday.

Hubbard suffered torn ligaments and a dislocated kneecap during the first offensive series of Sunday night’s 20-6 win at the New York Giants.

Although head coach Kevin Stefanski refused to say Monday that Hubbard’s season was over, he will undergo surgery this week to repair the damage to his knee.

Hubbard started at right guard in place of Wyatt Teller, who is sidelined with an ankle injury, Sunday night.

The veteran lineman appeared in 11 games this season with six starts – four at right guard and two at right tackle.

The Browns also placed safety Elijah Benton on the Practice Squad/COVID-19 list.
