CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns placed receiver KhaDarel Hodge on injured reserve Tuesday.
Hodge suffered a hamstring injury during warmups prior to Sunday’s 49-38 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Hodge has 3 catches for 51 yards this season and has been instrumental as a blocker in the run and pass game.
On Monday the Browns placed running back Nick Chubb on IR with a sprained MCL suffered in the first half.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year teams are permitted to place an unlimited number of players on IR and they are required to miss three games before being eligible to return.
The Browns currently have two open roster spots.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski indicated that tight end David Njoku could potentially be activated from IR this week.
