WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, West Virginia (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns adjusted their schedule for the third time in a week but Thursday saw an awful scene unfold on the field that ended with a sigh of relief.

Here’s the top Brownie Bites from the sixth practice at The Greenbrier for training camp.

Prayers for Foreman – Browns running back D’Onta Foreman was taken by helicopter to a Roanoke, Virginia medical center after he “sustained a direct blow to the head that resulted in neck pain” according to the team. X-rays and CT scans were negative and Foreman is expected to be released from Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon and rejoin the team. The injury occurred during a punt and punt return drill. After the play Foreman sat upright for a few minutes and was even rubbing his neck as trainers tended to him before they called for the cart and immobilized him. Head coach Kevin Stefanski and Haslam Sports Group partner JW Johnson looked on with concern as the medical staff worked on Foreman, who was quickly transported to an ambulance. Foreman had movement in all his extremities the team said. Following practice Stefanski gathered the team in the middle of the fields where they took a knee and said a prayer for Foreman. “It's hard, right? It's tough,” linebacker Jordan Hicks said after practice. “It's part of football. It's probably the worst part of football, but we've got a great medical team and praying and hoping for the best.”

Movin’ on up – The Browns adjusted their practice time for the third time in a week to avoid storms. Stefanski started practice at 9:30 to beat potential threats of rain. “I didn't want to mess with that,” Stefanski said. “It looked gorgeous this morning, so just figured we'd move it up a little bit.” Ultimately it did not rain but Stefanski has appreciated the flexibility of his staff. “It's good for your players and coaches and staff to be ready to pivot at a moment's notice and we just have to be used to those types of things,” Stefanski said. “Again, I would point out that the hard work is our equipment staff, our video staff, our trainers, those are the people that get impacted the most by schedule changes and they've done a great job.”

Jeudy returns – Receiver Jerry Jeudy practiced for the first time this camp, but he was limited to positional and individual drills. Jeudy had been sidelined since the outset of camp but had taken a few reps during drills without a helmet earlier this week.

Plays of the day – Deshaun Watson hit Cedric Tillman for a 40-yard touchdown during 11 on 11. The throw was perfectly placed over Tillman’s shoulder in front of defensive back Justin Hardee Sr. Practice ended with a Grant Delpit interception of Watson over the middle.

Roster move – The Browns signed linebacker Caleb Johnson and placed linebacker Charlie Thomas III on reserve injured with a knee injury. “He was with us all spring so he won’t miss a beat,” Stefanski said of Johnson. “A very athletic player excited about what he brings to the room. Tough kid. Smart. So excited that he's back.”

Roll Call – RB Nyheim Hines (NFI-knee), CB Greg Newsome II (NFI-hamstring), S D’Anthony Bell (PUP-shin), RB Nick Chubb (PUP-knee), T Jack Conklin (PUP-knee), DT Dalvin Tomlinson (PUP-knee), T Jedrick Wills Jr. (PUP-knee), CB Cameron Mitchell (right leg), OG Wyatt Davis (undisclosed), LB Tony Fields II (walking boot-right foot), Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (undisclosed), S Rodney McLeod (undisclosed) and DT Myles Garrett (undisclosed) did not practice.
