CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Safety Ronnie Harrison Jr. re-signed with the Browns Tuesday.
Harrison, who appeared in 12 games with 11 starts last season, agreed to a one-year deal on Friday to return.
A third-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Cleveland acquired Harrison from Jacksonville prior to the 2020 season.
Harrison’s 2021 season with the Browns included an ejection in the season opener at Kansas City for retaliating and shoving a Chiefs assistant coach. He was also benched for unspecified disciplinary reasons later in the season.
Harrison who enters his fifth NFL season, has appeared in 23 games for the Browns with 18 starts and totaled two interceptions – including a pick-6, 10 pass break ups, two sacks, two QB hits, 96 tackles, four tackles for loss and a fumble recovery.
