CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns set their initial 53-man roster Tuesday afternoon in advance of the 4 p.m. eastern deadline to do so by making 22 roster moves.
First, the moves that were not all that surprising.
The team waived cornerback Lorenzo Burns, receiver Jaelon Darden, running back/receiver Demetric Felton Jr., running back Hassan Hall, receiver Mike Harley Jr., defensive end Sam Kamara, defensive end Jeremiah Martin, safety Tanner McCalister, tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden, quarterback Kellen Mond, defensive end Lonnie Phelps, linebacker Charlie Thomas III, defensive end Isaiah Thomas, defensive tackle Tommy Togiai, receiver Austin Watkins Jr. and kicker Cade York.
Four players had their contracts terminated: Guard Michael Dunn, defensive tackles Trysten Hill and Maurice Hurst II as well as running back John Kelly Jr.
Receiver Michael Woods II was also placed on the reserve/non-football injury list.

Several players who were waived Tuesday will be brought back to the 16-member practice squad if they clear waivers Wednesday afternoon.
