CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns signed seven members of their 2022 NFL Draft class to contracts prior to the start of rookie minicamp this weekend the team announced.
Cornerback Martin Emerson Jr., defensive end Alex Wright, receiver David Bell, running back Jerome Ford, receiver Mike Woods II, defensive end Isaiah Thomas and offensive guard Dawson Deaton put pen to paper on their rookie deals Thursday.
Emerson, Wright and Bell were selected in the third round – Nos. 68, 78 and 99 overall.
Ford was taken 156th overall in round 5.
Woods was the 202nd overall pick in the sixth round while Thomas and Deaton were seventh round selections – Nos. 233 and 246 overall.
Kicker Cade York, taken in the fourth round along with defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey are the lone two picks yet to sign but the team hopes to wrap up both deals soon.
