CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – JoJo Natson’s first season with the Browns got cut short due to injury but the speedy receiver will give it another go in Cleveland.
Natson announced on his verified Instagram account that he is returning to the Browns.
Natson appeared in just three games for the Browns in 2020 before suffering a torn ACL.
The return of Natson coupled with Rashard Higgins agreeing to return on a one-year contract Wednesday night as the presumption that restricted free agent KhaDarel Hodge will also return means the receivers room remains intact for quarterback Baker Mayfield.
The Browns signed the former Akron Zip last offseason in the hopes he would be able to bolster their return game.
In three games prior to the injury, Natson returned three punts for 25 yards and a kickoff for 31 yards. In his career Natson averages 7.7 yards per punt return and 20.9 yards per kickoff return.
As a receiver, Natson saw limited offensive snaps and was not targeted. He carried one time for three yards.
