CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Hours after Jarvis Landry was activated from injured reserve, the Browns got another shot in the arm with the news that Odell Beckham Jr. will be able to play Thursday night against the Broncos.
Beckham worked out for about 30 minutes on the field with offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt keeping a close eye on him and he appeared to show no effects of the shoulder injury he suffered in the second quarter Sunday against Arizona.
Having their top two receivers available to backup quarterback Case Keenum should be a boost for an offense that will be without Baker Mayfield, running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt as well as right tackle Jack Conklin.
Mayfield, Chubb and Conklin are inactive while Hunt is on injured reserve.
Also inactive Thursday night cornerback A.J. Green, defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo, offensive lineman Hjalte Froholdt and defensive tackle Tommy Togiai.
