CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Those anxiously awaiting pictures and video on Wednesday of Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson throwing will be disappointed.
Watson, who threw during the team’s first OTA session on Tuesday, will not throw Wednesday’s session, which is open to reporters, as part of his rehab plan.
The Browns showed a short clip of Watson throwing on the team’s ‘story’ posted to their official Instagram account.
In early April Watson expressed confidence he will be ready to go Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys on September 8.
Watson underwent surgery last December to repair a fracture of the glenoid in his right throwing shoulder.
Stymied by an 11-game suspension in 2022 followed by injuries in 2023, Watson has only started 12 games for the Browns since being acquired from the Texans in March 2022 for six draft picks, including three first rounders.
