Ken Carman argues that if reports out of camp are accurate and no one has clearly seized the starting quarterback job, he'd have to keep an open mind about Dillon Gabriel getting real consideration alongside Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson, even though he admits it goes against his own preseason instincts. Anthony pushes back, noting Ken started the segment saying the job would likely default to Watson if it's close, and calls out the inconsistency in floating a three-way race days into camp. Ken acknowledges the show and much of the fanbase were unfair to Dillon Gabriel last year, pointing to how he was thrown to third-teamers and unfairly booed after coming back from a concussion.
