CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns COVID nightmare appears to be coming to an end.
The team activated eight more players from the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday including defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, safety Ronnie Harrison Jr., running back Kareem Hunt and left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr.
Starting defensive tackle Malik McDowell along with linebacker Mack Wilson, corner Troy Hill and guard Drew Forbes were also activated.
Since December 6, over 40 positive tests have ravaged the roster and coaching ranks but Monday’s activations leave just seven players on the active roster remaining on the list.
Linebacker Elijah Lee was also placed on reserve/COVID-19 Monday.
Safety Nate Meadors was restored from practice squad/COVID-19.
