CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns activated defensive end Myles Garrett from the reserve/COVID-19 list and placed safety Ronnie Harrison Jr. on injured reserve Tuesday.
Garrett was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Nov. 20 after testing positive for the virus. He was held out of practice on the 18th and 19th as a precaution after reporting symptoms.
Harrison suffered a shoulder injury while making a tackle on the first play of Sunday's 27-25 win in Jacksonville and did not return.
Harrison will have to miss at minimum three games but he'll reportedly miss 4-6 weeks with the shoulder injury that will likely keep him out until the playoffs, should the Browns clinch a spot.
The Browns acquired Harrison from the Jaguars in August for a 2021 fifth-round draft pick.
Harrison started six of the 10 games he appeared in this season where he registered 32 tackles, 6 pass breakups, an interception which he returned for a touchdown, a sack, and QB hit.
Garrett has totaled 9.5 sacks and 4 forced fumbles this season and is among the contenders for Defensive Player of the Year honors.
