CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns are hopeful that Nick Chubb’s return from a sprained MCL will come this week according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Chubb reportedly will return to practice this week and possibly play against the Texans next Sunday.
Chubb suffered the injury Oct. 4 in a 49-38 victory over the Cowboys in Arlington.
Chubb, who is averaging 5.9 yards per carry this season, has rushed for four touchdowns and 335 yards in just 3.4 games played.
Cleveland is 5-3 at the bye and currently the No. 7 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
