Olivier Vernon inactive, Jack Conklin active but Chris Hubbard to start at RT

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Browns defensive end Olivier Vernon is inactive but right tackle Jack Conklin is active but won’t start Thursday night’s game against the Bengals.

Vernon has been dealing with an abdominal injury.

Adrian Clayborn will start in Vernon’s place.

Conklin tested his ankle 90 minutes before kickoff, but Chris Hubbard is slated to start at right tackle for him.

Cornerbacks Greedy Williams and Kevin Johnson along with linebackers Mack Wilson and Jacob Phillips were ruled out on Wednesday.

Rookie receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones rounds out the list of Cleveland’s inactives.

Kicker Austin Seibert, waived Monday by the Browns and claimed Tuesday by the Bengals in inactive for Cincinnati.
