CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) - Cleveland Cavaliers guard Caris LeVert is expected to miss 1-2 weeks with a right foot sprain, while Darius Garland is set to undergo treatment for lower back soreness in the next few days.
The Cavaliers announced the pair's injury updates late Thursday afternoon.
LeVert has played in four games since the Cavs acquired him a trade with the Indiana Pacers before the deadline, averaging 13.3 points and 3.8 assists.
Garland recently participated in NBA All-Star Weekend festivities, including the All-Star Game on Sunday night in Cleveland. The 22-year-old sat out five games because of lower back soreness prior to last week's seasonal stoppage.
The Cavs (35-23) make their return to regular season action on Thursday night against the Pistons (13-45) in Detroit, with top-off at 7 p.m.
