Cleveland Cavaliers fully guarantee Cedi Osman's $6.7 million salary, per report

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Cavaliers are guaranteeing forward Cedi Osman’s $6.7 million salary for the 2023-24 season, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The reported deadline to guarantee Osman’s salary was June 29th at 11:59 PM.

In 20 minutes per game, the six-year veteran averaged 8.7 points per game, while shooting 37.2% from three point range. Osman signed a four-year, $30.8 million extension with the team in October 2019.


Osman’s $6.7 million salary can now be used in trades as an expiring contract ahead of the opening of NBA Free Agency on July 1st at 6:00 PM EST.

The Cavaliers announced their summer league roster ahead of the NBA 2K24 Summer League in Las Vegas, from July 7th through the 17th.

Some of the notable players will be 2023 49th overall pick forward Emoni Bates, Cavaliers 2022 second round picks forward Luke Travers, forward Isaiah Mobley, center Khalifa Diop, as well as undrafted free agents guard Craig Porter Jr and forward Pete Nance.
