CLEVELAND - Cavaliers forward Dean Wade will be out approximately 3-4 weeks after sustaining a left shoulder injury in the first half of Friday night’s win over the Orlando Magic, according to a statement released by the team Sunday.
Tests on Wade's shoulder revealed an AC joint sprain. He is set to undergo a period of treatment and rehabilitation and his status will be updated as appropriate, according to the team.
In his fourth NBA season, Wade has averaged a career-best 6.4 points per game over 17 games (nine starts), including a 41.1 3-point percentage.
