ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that that Matthew Dellavedova is staying with the wine and gold on a one-year minimum deal.

The move means the Cavaliers currently have Kevin Love and Dellavedova as the only remaining members from the 2016 title team on the roster. This move comes on the heels of Tristan Thompson signing a two-year deal with the Celtics over the weekend.

The 30-year-old has seen his production drop in recent years as the reserve guard averaged 14 minutes per game while appearing in 57 outings last season.

An interesting note from this singing comes as Cleveland.com’s Chris Fedor is reporting that Dellavedova will also have a one-year Bird restriction and veto power on any potential trade.

The club has been busy in this short offseason already signing Javale McGee and Damyean Dotson over the past few days.

The new year is right around the corner as the NBA has already voted to open the new season on December 22nd with training camps starting on December 1st
