NBA announces entire Cavaliers-Knicks first-round series schedule; series begins Saturday

The NBA has released the schedule for the Cleveland Cavaliers' first-round Eastern Conference playoff series against the New York Knicks.

The series will begin on Saturday, Apr. 15 with a 6 p.m. start at Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, with Game Two tipping off on Tuesday, Apr. 18 at 7:30 p.m.


Games Three (Friday, Apr. 21, 8:30 p.m.) and Four (Sunday, Apr. 23, 1 p.m.) will be played at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Should the series go beyond the first four games, the two teams will return to Cleveland for Game Five on Wednesday, Apr. 26 at a time to be determined. Games Six (Friday, Apr. 28 in New York) and Seven (Sunday, Apr. 30 in Cleveland) are also TBD.

The fourth-seeded Cavs (51-31) and fifth-seeded Knicks (47-35) faced off four times during the regular season, with the Knicks winning three of those contests: 92-81 on Dec. 4, 2022, 105-103 on Jan. 24, and 130-116 on Mar. 31. Cleveland won, 121-108, back on Oct. 30, 2022.
