CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Guardians announced on Tuesday that their Apr. 7 home opener against the Seattle Mariners is sold out.
The sellout marks the 29th consecutive Opening Day (excluding the 2020 season) at Progressive Field since the ballpark first opened in 1994.
The Guardians open the season on the West Coast, splitting a seven-game rod trip between Seattle and Oakland, starting with their Thursday, Mar. 30 season debut against the Mariners. Cleveland will then host the Mariners for three games before hosting a trio of contests against the New York Yankees from Apr. 10-12.
Opening Day first pitch will be at 4:10 p.m.
