CLEVELAND - Wednesday night’s game between the Cleveland Guardians and the Los Angeles Dodgers was suspended, due to inclement weather.
The game was stopped just before the third inning, with the Dodgers ahead, 3-1. After an hour and 45-minute delay, the contest was called.
The contest will be resumed on Thursday at 12:10 p.m., with all stats from Wednesday’s first two innings carrying over to the resumed game. The makeup will be followed by the previously scheduled Thursday series finale, set to begin approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of the resumed game.
Gates will open at 11 a.m., with fans holding tickets to Thursday’s game allowed to attend the Wednesday resumption.

Game Recap
The Dodgers scored three quick runs in the top of the first inning against Guardians starter Xzavion Curry, on a Will Smith sacrifice fly and a two-run double by Max Muncy.
Cleveland etched a run in the bottom of the first on a José Ramírez solo home run off L.A. left-hander Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw struck out the side in the bottom of the second inning, just ahead of the delay.
